DAYCARE AT THE RESERVE

A day that does more than tire your dog out.

Traditional daycare keeps dogs busy. At The Reserve, every day is intentionally structured around what genuinely matters to your dog's wellbeing — real social connection, meaningful movement, restorative rest, and reinforcement of the skills you've already worked hard to build.

About Section

Built on the science of wellbeing.

Four pillars — grounded in research on canine health and longevity — shape every hour of every daycare day.

Connect —
the strongest predictor of a longer life.

Recent research found that strong social connection is the top driver of canine longevity — outweighing financial factors by 5x. Source

At The Reserve, dogs are thoughtfully matched by temperament, play style, energy level, size, age, and social preference, so every interaction builds the kind of real social bond the science points to — not just supervised chaos. This is where daycare truly shines: optimal, meaningful social time, every day.

Rest
where learning and healing actually happen.

Sleep isn't downtime. It's when the brain consolidates everything a dog has learned, and when the body does its essential repair work. Dogs need 4–6 hours of daytime sleep Source, and that happens best in a dark, calm, cool, dedicated space Source. Every Reserve daycare day includes a restorative midday nap in a private suite, with an orthopedic cot and calming white noise — optimal rest, built into every visit.

Move
meaningfully more than a day at home.

Maintaining a healthy weight through regular movement has been shown to improve health and longevity Source. Our indoor and outdoor play gives your dog far more opportunity to move, build coordination, and support healthy body condition than a day at home — or a day at a typical daycare with no structure behind the play.

Reinforce
keeping hard-won skills sharp.

Practicing and reinforcing skills your dog has already learned isn't just good manners — it's meaningful mental engagement, and research shows that kind of enrichment plays a role in supporting cognitive health over a dog's lifetime Source. Polite greetings, loose-leash walking, waiting at thresholds, coming when called, settling, appropriate play, calm transitions — we weave these into the day so the progress you've made keeps holding, rather than fading the moment you drop the leash.

A day that leaves your dog better rested, better connected, and no further behind than when they arrived.

PROOF, NOT JUST A PROMISE

We don't just tell you your dog had a good day — we show you what "good" meant.

Every dog goes home with a daily report card noting the moments that mattered: how they played, how they settled, which skills got a little practice today. A real record of the day, not a generic update.

Every Daycare Day Includes
Carefully selected social play, matched for genuine connection
Group training games and exercises
A restorative midday nap in a dark, calm, cool private suite
Daily photos and a detailed report card
Indoor and outdoor activity that supports movement and healthy weight
Reinforcement of existing foundational training skills

A meaningfully better day

A day at The Reserve gives your dog what matters most: real connection, real rest, real movement, and skills that stay sharp instead of slipping. It's a genuinely better way to spend the day than staying home — or spending it anywhere that treats daycare as a space to burn off energy.
